Earn2Give encourages children to achieve, earn, and give by connecting a student’s individual achievements to the joy of giving to others at the holidays.
Earn2Give would not be able to fulfill its mission each year without the generous support of our sponsors and people like you. Your generous contribution will make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of Atlanta-area students and their families.
Over an 8 to 10-week period, students earn points for good attendance and citizenship and by demonstrating positive traits, such as empathy, integrity, perseverance, and dedication in the classroom. The focus is on recognizing valuable non-academic achievements, so that every student has a chance to participate and be rewarded.
We work closely with the teachers and administrators to set the guidelines and track the points, and we celebrate and reward the students with a unique holiday shopping day — set up at their school.
At the beginning of December, when the points period has ended, Earn2Give volunteers set up a special Holiday Gift Market within the school, where students can exchange their points for gifts. The twist is they can’t shop for themselves, only for their family members.
Each student has their own Earn2Give volunteer who shops with them from hundreds of donated gifts and helps them choose the right presents for the family members in their home: parents, grandparents, and siblings. From jewelry to sports equipment, dolls to remote control toys and more, there’s something for every point level, so no one leaves empty handed.
